Come see what being a Grizz is all about at our
2026 Bring a Friend / Try Rugby Days!

Do you know someone who might be interested in trying out rugby in a safe (non-contact), fun atmosphere?

The Mini's and Juniors will be having a Try Rugby Day on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026! This is open to all programs from U5s up to U18s, is non-contact, and is a great way to give the sport a try before having to commit.  The U5 to U11s practice from 6-7pm and the U13s to U18s practice from 7-8:30pm.

The Senior Men will also be having a Try Rugby Day on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 from 6:45-8:30pm.

Where: Mitford Pond playing field (201 W Rock Rd, Cochrane, AB)

Cost: FREE!

How: No pre-registration is required – just show up with runners (or cleats, if you have them), and water.

This is non-contact, so mouth guards are NOT required for this event. For insurance purposes, participant information will be collected upon entry to the event, so please stop by our table at the pitch to register.
