Steps to Become a Match Official in Alberta

1| Register or login at World Rugby Passport Website

2| Complete the following four courses/certifications:

▪ Rugby Ready

▪ Laws of the Game

▪ Introduction to Match Officiating

▪ Concussion Management for the General Public

3| When complete, save your certificates (you’ll need them to register for the course)

4| Check course listings: Rugby Canada Training & Education Course Listings Page

5| Register for a local World Rugby Match Official Fifteens Level 1 course being offered

6| Attend the course and complete the on-field portion scheduled with it

7| Register in Sportlomo (instructions will be provided after the course)

8| Update your availability in Sportlomo

9| Get allocated to a match

10| Officiate your first match!
